Hi! My name is Emily, well duh but yeah. I was born on Halloween and most people think that's either super cool or like really weird, but I always hated it because people would say, "Wow, that's so cool! You get candy on your birthday!" It's like... yeah I do, but nowadays people have candy all the time so why is getting it on one day so special? I now love having my birthday on Halloween because nobody has an excuse for forgetting it. I grew up dancing but I'm now a huge fan of soccer. I hate watching it on t.v. or watching other people play but it's really fun when I can play myself. I play forward most of the time which means I get the ball and score. I like playing because it makes me feel really fast and aggressive when I pass/knock over the defense in order to achieve what I wanted. For being 5'1" I'd say I'm a pretty fast sprinter. I usually beat defensive people to the ball and when I don't that's when I get mad and get aggressive. Since I'm a good runner and enjoy running I joined cross country in 7th grade and I think it's really fun. Most people think cross country isn't a sport or that it's super easy but it's not easy by any means. But before I can play sports school has to come first. I've always gotten good grades and I usually live up to my parents expectations (except for getting a C+ in DeVoe's class for like no reason). After school and sports are over my family is my next important thing. My parents love each other and I have a little sister who used to act like me when we were little but now she's very independent and excels at gymnastics. She trains about 4 times a week and now her body is super muscular. All of my grandparents are still alive and I even have a 91? year old great grandma. I have 3 uncles and 2 aunts and from these aunts and uncles I have my cousins: Haley (16), Carley (almost 14), Gabriella (almost 11), Ben (9), Olivia (7), Sophia (4), and Ian (almost 4).
People ask me all the time what my nationalities are so here's the list: British, Czechoslovakian, Polish, Swedish, Norweigian, Austrian, and French-Canadian. But overall, I just refer to myself as an American mutt. In my family we have two dogs who are like my sisters. Samantha Autumn is a 10 year old chocolate labrador and the love of my life. She is my best friend, I can't imagine my life without her. She enjoys long walks and eating cheez-its on the couch with me. Our other dog, Lucy Brady Jane Harlow Winter Kate Madden, is a chocolate lab as well. She's 2 years old and I used to like her. I begged and begged for her but now I get annoyed with her. We adopted her when she was a puppy and she's gotten naughtier by the day. She enjoys long walks, but unfortunately I hate taking her. She might be my friend someday but right now, that's doubtful. Another important thing in my life are my friends. I've always had a tight-knit group of friends throughout elementary school. But moving from Osseo to Wayzata was a change and I bonded better with guys. My bad judgement didn't get me anywhere and now I have a great group of girls that I love very, very much (no homo). My close group of friends are: Marissa, Alison, Lily, Maya, and Kaitlin. They have been there for me through all the bad times and I'm really lucky to know such nice people. Spending time with my girlfriends is probably the highlight of my week. Aside from sports, school, family, and friends I also go to church. I didn't grow up with a religious house but I choose to go to confirmation and sunday services (when I have time). It surprises a lot of people that I choose to go but my church friends are really fun to be around and make the whole church experience more enjoyable. I'm probably forgetting stuff but that's basically my life... more later :)
